Midi timers are made in our own mould, designed specially for durations up to 5 mins. This range is unique to Crossbow. Smaller, cheaper 5 minute timers are available from some other suppliers, generally as part of a set of 3 (usually 1 and 3 and 5 mins). They are made from the same mould as the "mini" size timers , which is why they are the same price; but the aperture has been reduced to prolong the duration to 5 minutes. This makes them particularly susceptible to clogging, which interrupts or completely prevents the flow.
